Through applying a chinese technique, a student from Charmo University treats the patients. Frmesk Mohammed Arif, a student in Department of Oil, Gas and Energy Management-College of Public Addministration and Natural Resource Management, presented a seminar concerning the usage of Acupuncture as a special technique in treating the patients. The seminer was held in the seminars hall in the above mentioned College which was attended by a large group of students. The seminar presenter; 'Fremisk' concerning the subject of the seminer added that; such seminer has a great importance in clarifying the misunderstandings exist in our society about such medical techniques which could help in treating a lot of those who travel for getting treatment abroad. Acupuncture is a chinese method in treating some diseases by injecting or inserting thin needles into certain places of the body. At the end of the seminar, the participants appreciated the presenter's efforts and skills in preparing such a useful and important topic.     |

This was the title of the seminar presented Today by Kaziwa Nu'man Sidiq on 11 November 2018, with the assistance of her tutor Pshtiwan Fadhil Sidiq in the former Foundation campus. At Charmo University, the activities and efforts of the professors and students are shown in best ways. With the attendance of Dr. Huner Amin Hassan, the dean of College of Public Administration and Natural Recourse Management, and all the heads of the departments, a seminar concerning how to work on the public website of Charmo University was presented. The seminar was fully prepared by the IT Department of the university. The seminar was presented by two employees; Mr. Aras Ibrahim and Yaseen Hussain. The significance of the seminar is that enough illustrations about the public website of Charmo University are given to the departments’ heads and professors in the seminar. In generally, such seminars are very important to progress the university, and are necessary as well to the professors’ academic progress. Dr. Huner, the dean of College of Public Administration and Natural Recourse Management stated that. He also added that the seminars need to be adjusted to the latest scientific and technological progress and developments. Certainly, the professors and students’ activities and efforts are shown in best ways at the university.   |
A scientific trip regarding Health, Safety and Environment Management for the students from the Department of Oil, Gas and Energy Management
at University of Charmo As part of the practical lessons of the Health, Safety and Environment Management, third semester students from the Department of Oil, Gas and Energy Management organized a scientific trip to Electricity Generation Station in Sulaimani Governorate, Chamchamal town. The purpose of the trip was to get scientific information about the electrical hazards available in the station while generating electricity through natural gas, and tried to find a way in order to control workplace hazards and eliminate or reduce the risk. That was a practical and oral trip lasted for six hours. Students got enough information from the experts of the Health, Safety and Environment Management. The grassland rate in the station of the entire project’s area was about 40%, which is greater than grasslands world statistical data.   |
