History of the department
Department of accounting was established back in 2015-2016. It was first based in the town of Qere Henjir. Later in the same year the department was moved to Charmo University new camp due to technical reasons and not having proper facilities and lecture halls.


 Department Objectives

Department of Accounting, business College  aims to provide the students with the highest quality of teaching, so that they can play their vital role in both public and private sectors in the fields of accounting and management. We also aim to develop and improve our students’ human and communication competencies, so that they can advance the society and fulfill the market needs for knowledgeable and professional accountants. Furthermore, it is our department’s aim to arm our graduates with sufficient knowledge in the science of accounting and financial management. We also want to utilize the new styles of teaching in our department. By doing this, we hope to find our graduates opportunities to practice their knowledge and fill the void that exists in the market due to not having enough professional accountants.


System of Study

The system of study in our department is yearly. Our department tries to utilize the modern methods of teaching. We do this by using what is available to us from whiteboards to data shows and other tools of teaching. This on top of making sure our students learn the science both theoretically and practically.




The Period of Study
Students at our department will obtain bachelor of science in accounting after successfully studying the science of accounting for four years.



Mission
It is the object of the Accounting department to provide best education to their students, in order to make the graduates be able to actively participate in the fields of management and accounting both in public and private sectors. In addition, the department intends to enhance the student's skills and learning capacities in a way which they can fulfill the market and society's need. The main three aims of the department are:
1- Producing qualified graduates in the field of Accounting with bachelor degree.
2- Producing competent candidates with high level of knowledge about Accounting to both public and private sectors.
3- Developing a group of accountants with very good background in the field of Accounting.


Vision
The core aim of this department is to produce professional candidates in the area of Accounting, by developing their capacities in this specialty. It is also aimed to improve the talent and cleverness of the students through knowledge and science.
